FAQs
More FAQs- Is drying and curing the same thing?
- Can I strip floors with urethane finish?
- Does a urethane floor need to be buffed?
No. Drying means that the surface layer is no longer wet or damp to the touch. Curing, on the other hand, means that acrylic has reached its maximum hardness thereby providing the necessary protection of your flooring.
Urethane is strippable, if necessary. However, when the product reaches the end of its life cycle, it can be abraded and recoated without stripping. ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie has products and procedures designed specifically for this purpose.
Urethane is NEVER buffed. Buffing may actually diminish the gloss of the finish.
